P008 → Future War: Portable Hydroponics
The food systems of both countries have been targeted by the opposing side ever since the Russo-Ukrainian War began. Wheat is a crucial strategic resource for both Russia and Ukraine, as it is essential for the survival of military personnel and citizens. However, Ukraine's cultivated areas are being destroyed, and the land is becoming barren and unable to support food production. Plantation areas in Ukraine are being converted into wastelands, which implies that the land can no longer support food production and that food output in the nation is stagnating.
An experiment to study the growth of wheat, explore and imagine a new way of human-computer interaction between people and food planting fields in the wasteland in 2040. Highly flexible, small, and efficient wartime planting equipment may have a symbiotic relationship with people.
